Come join Team Atlantis! Atlantis Casino Resort Spa is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our Fun Center. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic leader with a passion for exceptional guest service and team development. The Assistant Manager will support the daily operations of the venue, assist with supervising staff, uphold service and safety standards, and ensure the overall success of both the arcade and food service areas.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Fun Center Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the arcade and eatery, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Lead and motivate team members by setting a positive example and fostering a productive, team-oriented environment.
  • Deliver and model outstanding guest service while addressing and resolving guest concerns in a timely, professional manner.
  • Assist in hiring, training, and developing team members; provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
  • Monitor staff performance and productivity, ensuring tasks are completed to company standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, health, and sanitation regulations.
  • Oversee and maintain proper safety procedures for all gaming and kitchen equipment.
  • Manage and troubleshoot payment transactions, ensuring accuracy and integrity with various tender types (cash, credit/debit, tickets, etc.).
  • Prioritize and delegate tasks effectively to ensure guest needs and departmental goals are met.
  • Supervise and perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on arcade games and redemption machines.
  • Assist with inventory control and ordering supplies when necessary.
  • Handle opening and closing procedures as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel crouch or crawl; talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.

Qualifications

  • Two weeks following initial hire date, team member must be proficient in both MICROS and the Embed Card System.
  • Meet and exceed all company expectations and standards.
  • Must stay proactive in all job duties, both detailed and otherwise.
  • Previous Supervisory experience
  • Previous game repair/maintenance experience
  • Must be flexible to work Day & Swing shifts, weekends & Holidays
