Job Summary:**

The Banquet Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service to guests attending banquets and special events at Atlantis Casino Resort Spa. This role requires a high level of customer service, efficient drink preparation, and adherence to all alcohol service regulations.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Set up and stock the bar area with all necessary supplies, including liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and ice.
* Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently, following established recipes and portion control guidelines.
* Interact with guests in a friendly, professional, and attentive manner, taking beverage orders and offering recommendations.
* Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, operating a POS system.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.
* Monitor guest alcohol consumption and adhere to all responsible alcohol service policies and procedures, including identifying and refusing service to intoxicated individuals.
* Collaborate with banquet staff to ensure seamless service delivery during events.
* Restock bar supplies throughout events as needed.
* Break down and clean the bar area at the conclusion of events.
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as state and local liquor laws.
* Assist with other banquet-related duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications:**

* Minimum of 2 years of experience as a bartender, preferably in a high-volume banquet or upscale restaurant setting.
* Possession of a valid alcohol server permit/certification as required by state and local regulations.
* Thorough knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a friendly and outgoing personality.
* Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong cash handling and POS system experience.
* Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform repetitive motions.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands.
* Must be at least 21 years of age.
