Cage Supervisor - Grave Shift
Overview
Come join Team Atlantis! The Cage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily cage operations to ensure exceptional guest service, regulatory compliance, and the secure handling of casino funds. This role provides leadership, guidance, and supervision to cage staff while ensuring adherence to all company policies, internal controls, and Nevada gaming regulations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and oversee daily cage operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Enforce guest service standards and proactively address and resolve guest issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain a professional presence that reflects credibility and sets the standard for cage team members.
- Ensure the securing, handling, and accurate accounting of company funds and assets.
- Review, approve, and ensure accurate completion of all computer input transactions and departmental paperwork.
- Ensure compliance with all company, departmental, and regulatory requirements, including gaming regulations and internal controls.
- Analyze and approve check cashing requests and credit limit increases within established parameters.
- Review and approve Cash Paid Out transactions, ensuring proper documentation and required authorization signatures.
- Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate Cashiers, Vault Bankers, and Lead Cashiers.
- Issue and receive secure keys to and from authorized personnel, ensuring proper documentation is maintained on key logs.
- Issue, track, and reconcile controlled documents, including but not limited to Slot Jackpot Books.
- Ensure access to the cage area is restricted to authorized personnel only.
- Answer incoming calls in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
- Assist management with audits, investigations, and compliance reviews as needed.
- Other duties as assigned my management.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel crouch or crawl; talk, and hear. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Nevada Gaming license.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of casino cage experience, with supervisory or lead experience preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of cage operations, internal controls, and gaming regulations.
- Proven leadership, training, and team management skills.
- Ability to accurately handle large volumes of cash and sensitive financial transactions.
- Excellent guest service, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required.
