Lead Count Team Technician

Overview
The Lead Count Team Technician oversees and participates in the secure collection and counting of drop boxes from the gaming floor, ensuring full compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal controls. This role provides leadership to the Count Team, supports accurate accounting of cash and assets, and serves as a key point of communication between departments involved in the drop and count process.
Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in slot drops and currency counts
- Supervise and support Count Team members to ensure procedures and regulatory standards are strictly followed.
- Coordinate and communicate with other departments involved in the drop and count process.
- Operate and oversee the use of counting equipment and computer systems.
- Perform data entry and basic reconciliation with a high level of accuracy.
- Accurately handle and account for large volumes of currency and other cash assets.
- Identify and report discrepancies or procedural issues to management.
- Assist with training and mentoring new team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand, walk, use hands to handle objects, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Required gaming license (jurisdiction-specific)
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work quickly, accurately, and under strict controls
- Ability to quickly learn systems and applications
- Basic math and reconciliation skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
Must adhere to all grooming standards, including no visible tattoos, piercings, or unnatural hair colors
