Overview

Responsibilities

Answering Payroll telephone lines

General payroll Filing

Vacation processing – Maintenance of spread sheets and data entry into time keeping system for vacation request forms

Daily interaction with managers - Point person for WFM timekeeping system

Payroll Audits of GHR data entry

Assemble new hire files

Processes orientation, meeting, and training hours

Reviews and prepares payroll adjustment forms

Back up person to Payroll Assistant Manager for check issuance

Back up Banquet tip processing Evention software program
Monthly vacation accrual processing from file extraction to data input

Prepare, assemble and issue biweekly payroll checks

WFM Time/Attendance maintenance/hours processing & transfer

Time keeper overview and troubleshooting (Irregular hours– process and follow up with Department for errors in WFM)

Income and Deduction data entry and backup person for Dealer tokes, bus passes, nylons, shoes, Health Spa comm., etc.)

Infnium queries for accuracy maintenance and troubleshooting. Follow up with departments, if necessary. Review/research all WFM records for accuracy

WFM training for new timekeepers

Assist with a variety of on-going projects

Perform other related duties as assigned by the Corporate Payroll Manager and Assistant Payroll Manager

Qualifications

Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as payroll reports, federal and state laws and payroll procedure manuals. Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence, efficiently, speak effectively and communicate positively with all employees and management at all companies.Must have the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as wages, overtime and retroactive pay. Mathematics and organizational skills are necessary for success in this position.

The Payroll Specialist must have extensive and proficient computer knowledge. Knowledge of Infinium payroll systems, excel, word, and outlook is preferred. This position must have the ability to learn computer software programs.
