Overview

Are you a team player who thrives on providing Guests with the ultimate dining experience? We are currently accepting applications for talented and guest service-oriented individuals to join our Atlantis Team. As Room Chef you will directly oversee the operation of the kitchen in conjunction with other Departmental Management.

Full Time Various Shifts

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire outlet all shifts.
  • Menu planning and development.
  • Supervising including:
    • Control labor, Payroll, scheduling hiring candidates.
  • Order product from warehouse and purchasing.
  • Work variable shifts.
  • Build moral.
  • Guest Relations.
  • Read and follow recipes.
  • Meet deadlines.
  • Read tickets.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work station.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Team player.
  • Other duties as assigned my management.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel crouch or crawl; talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.

Qualifications

Performance Expectations

  • Know food and safety sanitation standards.
  • Follow Atlantis Policies and Procedures.
  • Know the entire menu.
  • Produce a consistent and quality product.
  • Continuously plans for improvements in the outlet.
  • Training Team Members.
  • Exceptional organization skills.

Technical Skills

  • 7 years cooking experience.
  • 2 years experience as a Supervisor.
  • Ability to learn new methods.
  • Knowledge of various cuts of meat and their preparation.
  • Knowledge of various types of fish and their preparation.
  • Computer skills.
  • Be able to lift 50 pounds safely.
  • Be able to stand 90% of the time.
  • Be able to use various types of kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Knife skills.
  • Breakdown and clean equipment.
  • General knowledge of food and safety sanitation standards.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sauce making skills.
  • Must adhere to all grooming standards, no "visible" tattoos/piercings or unnatural hair colors.
