Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire outlet all shifts
  • Menu planning and development
  • Supervise two or more employees
  • Control labor
  • Payroll
  • Order product from warehouse and purchasing
  • Hire candidates
  • Discipline when necessary
  • Scheduling
  • Work variable shifts
  • Build moral
  • Guest Relations
  • Follow verbal and written instructions
  • Read and follow recipes
  • Meet deadlines
  • Read tickets
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work station
  • Positive attitude
  • Team player
  • Continuously plans for improvements in the outlet
  • Training Team Members
  • Exceptional organization skills
  • Other duties as assigned my management.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel crouch or crawl; talk, and hear. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.

Qualifications

  • 7 years cooking experience
  • 2 year experience as a Supervisor
  • 1 year fine dining experience
  • Knowledge of food and safety sanitation standards
  • Follow Atlantis Policies and Procedures
  • Know the entire menu
  • Produce a consistent and quality product

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of various cuts of meat and their preparation
  • Knowledge of various types of fish and their preparation
  • Computer skills
  • Be able to lift 50 pounds safely
  • Be able to stand 90% of the time
  • Be able to use various types of kitchen equipment
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Knife skills
  • Breakdown and clean equipment
  • General knowledge of food and safety sanitation standards
  • Work in a fast paced environment
  • Sauce making skills
