Overview

The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing and executing all social media content and activities. The SMM will create and implement the organic social media strategy framework in order to increase Atlantis' social media presence on all platforms, improve marketing efforts, content quality, and increase engagement and followers.

Responsibilities

  • Content creation (video, graphic, visual and written skills)
  • Manage day-to-day organic social media activities, including posting, monitoring, optimizing, responding, and engaging with our social community
  • Develop an organic social media marketing strategy that positions Atlantis as the industry leader, engages influencers, creates opportunities for brand engagement, and develops audiences/followers
  • Work with other marketing team members to test integrated social campaigns that seek to drive qualified traffic and conversions for core products
  • Execute plans that are tightly aligned with the content/PR calendar, customer acquisition programs, events/promotions, and amenities/service launches
  • Develop high-impact, high-performing copy and assets that are on-brand and optimized for each social channel
  • Listen and engage in relevant social discussions about our brand, amenities, capabilities, and industry, and monitor for proactive engagement opportunities
  • Understand target audience and leverage social media channels to increase reach and size of key audience segments
  • Measure and report on all social media programs against established benchmarks and goals; identify opportunities, and provide recommendations while showing continuous improvement.
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
  • Responsible for monitoring trending hashtags and topics while finding unique ways to integrate them into the brand.
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
  • Conduct competitive analysis studies on competitors, including digital footprint analysis.
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
  • Manages the social media strategy and content calendar

  • Provides all reports/metrics on social media statistics, demographics and performance
  • Approves all copy, images, and content for social media:
    • Creation of content which meets our brand standards
    • Develop and deliver social media optimization (SMO).
    • Stay current with social media trends and best practices.
    • Research opportunities for new social marketing platforms to enhance engagement and performance
    • Review and approve content on a daily basis.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years social media and marketing experience.
  • Content creation (video, graphic, visual and written skills).
  • Experience as a social media specialist or similar position.
  • Excellent critical thinking, interpersonal, communication, time-management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to use social media for impressions and brand awareness. Excellent knowledge of social media platforms including Youtube, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat and TikTok. Understanding of social media KPIs, web traffic metrics and SEO. Familiarity with publishing and web design
