Lead Stocker – Job Summary

The Lead Stocker is responsible for ensuring the restaurant is fully stocked, clean, and ready to provide efficient guest service. The role focuses on maintaining inventory levels, reducing waste, supporting front-of-house operations, and assisting team members to ensure smooth daily operations in the buffet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stock serving lines, dessert stations, and side stations with dishes, silverware, glassware, ice, and supplies.
  • Pick up and replenish food, linen, china, and other inventory while maintaining appropriate par levels.
  • Train and assist bussers with stocking responsibilities.
  • Keep service, storage, and work areas clean and organized.
  • Handle products properly to minimize waste and breakage.
  • Follow all company policies, food safety procedures, and FIFO inventory practices.
  • Provide excellent guest service and respond to guest needs professionally.
  • Communicate guest concerns to supervisors.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma preferred.
  • 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout an 8-hour shift.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and inventory rotation (FIFO).
